Welcome to the Lasham GP2008 Competitors Site
Notice of Race
The Lasham Gliding Society is proud to announce that it will be hosting the 2008 UK Sailplane Grand Prix and invite interested parties to register for the event. On line registration can be found at http://gp.lasham.org.uk
The winner and runner-up will qualify for the World Sailplane Grand Prix to be held in late 2009.
Venue
The event will take place at the Lasham Gliding Society, Lasham Airfield, Alton, Hampshire, UK.
Entries
Prospective pilots are invited to register their interest on the web site by the 15th of June 2008. The top 15 UK glider pilots and 5 International pilots (based on IGC ranking) will be invited to complete the full registration and pay the entry fee of £ 250 by the 30th June 2008. If after this date there remain places available, these will be allocated from a reserve list in order of IGC ranking order. The final entry list will be published on the 1st of August 2008.
